Live Domestic Violence Training

Basic domestic violence training is available through UDVC. Two types of training are currently offered: live basic training and web-based training, which together meet the minimum of 24 hours of pre-service domestic violence training required for an individual to conduct domestic violence treatment in a licensed outpatient treatment facility.

UDVC does not license individuals or agencies to provide domestic violence treatment, but does offer certificates of completion for all of our training's. Our Web Based Training also offers CEU's (continuing education units) for successful completion. The UDVC does not license agencies to provide domestic violence treatment; This can only be done through the State of Utah, Department of Human Services, Office of Licensing.

UDVC facilitates live basic domestic violence training monthly around the state of Utah. The course is 21.5 hours; these training hours are not CEU approved. The training features speakers on a broad variety of basic domestic violence subjects, including:
