Policy Committees
Public Policy Committee
UDVC’s Public Policy Committee leads our advocacy efforts by advancing the needs of individuals impacted by domestic violence and the programs that support them. The committee focuses on legislative and policy initiatives that align with UDVC’s mission to end domestic violence through advocacy, education, collaboration, and leadership. Public Policy Committee members must represent a UDVC member program (find membership information here).
Policy Engagement Committee
The Policy Engagement Committee helps ensure that our policy advocacy is informed by a broad range of community voices and lived experiences. This subcommittee is open to community members who support UDVC’s mission, vision, and values and want to contribute to positive policy change.
