Volunteer

The Utah Domestic Violence Coalition (UDVC) offers several ways for community members to support survivors and strengthen Utah’s response to domestic violence. Whether you are interested in providing direct support, helping raise awareness, or contributing behind the scenes, volunteers play an important role in advancing our mission.

Current Volunteer Opportunities:

LINKLine Volunteers- Provide direct support to survivors by responding to calls and texts on the UDVC’s 24/7 LINKLine. Volunteers offer compassionate listening, share information about available resources, and help connect survivors to services. This remote role requires a weekly overnight shift and includes 40 hours of training.

Tabling Volunteers- Represent the UDVC at community events by sharing information about domestic violence and UDVC services. Volunteers help distribute materials, answer general questions, and raise awareness about available resources, including the 24/7 LINKLine.

Community Resource Guide Volunteers- Support survivors behind the scenes by helping keep the UDVC’s resource guide accurate and up to date. Volunteers verify information about community services, research new resources, and assist with maintaining reliable referrals. This is a flexible, remote role that is well-suited for detail-oriented volunteers.
